About the Role
Due to continued business wins and growth, we're bringing in more talent! We’re now looking for a Midweight Creative who can bring a new generation of thinking into the creative department. Someone who knows what’s happening on the internet because they’re actually part of it. You know the creators before they’re on every brand deck, understand why a meme is funny before a brand kills it, and have a sharp instinct for what Gen Z will watch, share, skip or call bullshit on.
But cultural fluency is only half of it. You need to be a brilliant ideas person. Someone who can take all that knowledge and turn it into simple, surprising, social-first ideas for some of the world’s biggest brands. From a reactive post made in an afternoon to a talent format, cultural stunt or major campaign, we want someone who can find the idea that makes people care.
What the opportunity looks like
- Come up with big, original, social-first ideas for some of the world’s biggest brands, from initial brief through to execution.
- Bring a fresh Gen Z perspective to the work, spotting the creators, conversations, behaviours and cultural shifts that brands can credibly be part of.
- Create across everything from reactive social and short-form video to talent-led entertainment, stunts, activations and bigger integrated campaigns.
- Work independently and collaboratively, turning briefs and strategies into simple, compelling creative ideas and presenting them with confidence.
- Collaborate with producers, designers, directors, creators and talent to bring your ideas to life, staying involved from pitch through to final edit.
- Challenge briefs, push the work and proactively bring new ideas, references and opportunities into the creative team.
Skills and experience we’d like you to have
- Experience as a Midweight Creative within a social-first, advertising, content or creative environment, with a portfolio full of strong, original ideas.
- Deep Gen Z and internet culture fluency, with an instinctive understanding of social platforms, creators, entertainment, memes and emerging behaviours.
- Strong conceptual and writing skills, with the ability to turn a rough thought into a simple, compelling creative proposition.
- Practical creative craft skills, from writing scripts and treatments to building compelling pitch decks and presentations.
- Confidence working independently, presenting your thinking and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Comfortable working at pace across multiple briefs, with enough commercial awareness to understand budgets, scope and what’s realistically deliverable.
