We're looking for an organised, proactive HR Coordinator to support our growing team and help us build the scalable people operations we need as we expand beyond 100 people. You'll be the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, own key processes like onboarding and offboarding, and support people initiatives that make a real difference. This is a hands-on, fast-moving role with genuine responsibility and plenty of variety—the ideal stepping stone into HR specialism if you're ambitious to grow.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain accurate employee records and manage HRIS systems
- Draft contracts, offer letters, amendments and policy updates
- Own end-to-end onboarding and coordinate offboarding processes
- First line contact for day-to-day HR queries and employee relations
- Monitor sickness absence, track probation periods and coordinate salary reviews
- Support payroll inputs, L&D, performance reviews and engagement initiatives
- Assist with disciplinaries, grievances and employment relations processes (admin, documentation and note-taking)
- Ensure HR processes align with UK employment law and GDPR compliance
- Build and document scalable HR processes and systems for a 100+ person business
- Prepare HR reports, people data insights and ad hoc analysis for leadership
What We're Looking For
Essential
- 1.5 - 3 years in an HR, People Ops or People Assistant role
- Experience in a fast-paced, growing business (agency, startup or scale-up environment ideal)
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and GDPR basics
- Proven experience supporting recruitment and onboarding at volume
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working to tight deadlines
- Discreet and professional when handling confidential information
Desirable
- CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards)
- Familiarity with creative or media environments
- Proactive problem-solver with a can-do, solutions-focused attitude
How We Work
Uncovered operates on a hybrid model. You'll work in our London office (5 Exchange Gardens, Lambeth) 3 days a week with flexibility to work from home on other days. We offer a Friday 3pm finish, giving you time back every week.
