About the Role

Reporting into the Head of Production & Post Production, this is an exciting opportunity to help manage the team who oversee the production of all branded content projects from start to finish across LADbible Group’s brands including: LADbible, BETCHES, UNILAD, SPORTbible and the wider group. This opportunity requires someone who is decisive and can flourish working in a fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of digital advertising and media as well as traditional production workflows. We’re looking for someone who is positive with a solutions‑focussed attitude, as this position involves planning and supporting the Head of Production running a team responsible for the production of all commercial, marketing and social video projects across the LADbible portfolio of brands and channels. This is very much a hands-on role with productions.

What the opportunity looks like:

  • Oversee all stages of the production and post production process, ensuring delivery of assets by the team are on time, on budget and of a high standard, especially for our top 20 clients and big revenue opportunities.
  • Manage an amazing team of in-house Senior Producers, Production Managers and Coordinators, including any freelance production and co‑ordinator roles.
  • As a people manager, plan and promote the daily health and schedule of the team, raise resource concerns and solutions.
  • Coach and mentor the team to maximize individuals’ growth and harness the strengths and opportunities of each team member.
  • Work with a wide range of internal stakeholders across the business, keeping teams on‑point and safeguarding content creation at every stage of development and execution.
  • Oversee production budgets, working closely with other departments including Finance and Client Projects to ensure revenue is being quoted, allocated, spent and reported accurately across every area of production.
  • Support team on legal processes and procedures where applicable.
  • Oversee compliance processes, working harmoniously with internal departments to ensure project risks are managed appropriately.
  • Keep up to date with new production and operational technologies and practices sharing knowledge with wider teams.

Skills and experience we'd like you to have:

  • ~ 10 years experience in production, across various forms of content. From social to traditional ads.
  • Proven experience of managing production teams at a similar publisher, agency or production company, preferably with social video content production experience.
  • Understanding of social platforms, and ability to optimise production processes to cater for platform nuances.
  • Understanding of production costs and timelines, able to pivot workflows confidently to resolve project issues, as well as accommodate more effective content opportunities.
  • Comprehensive understanding of video editing and edit producing.
  • Detail oriented with a proven history managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously.
  • Track record of delivering digital video projects across a multitude of platforms and be able to allocate projects to the team according to skill and project requirements.
  • Good base‑level technical knowledge across a range of broadcast‑standard production and post‑production equipment and technologies.
  • Client‑facing background, with the ability to lead production elements across pitches, PPMs and PCAs.
  • Unflappable, resilient and emotionally intelligent, able to calmly make critical decisions in a high‑pressure environment.
  • Passionate about youth culture and savvy about the advertising and media industry.
  • Experience in ASA guidelines and Clearcast workflows.
  • Experience using AI in production workflows.
