What We Do
The role of a Care Assistant at LACURA Health & Social Care is varied and largely depends on the client you will be visiting every day. Everything we do is designed to help our clients live happy, independent lives. We will provide you with all the tools and training you require to excel.
Responsibilities
- Visit clients in their homes and provide person‑centred support.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation and medication support where required.
- Promote safety, independence and well‑being through compassionate, empathetic care.
- Record observations and report changes in client condition to the multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to support clients’ individual care plans.
Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence and own car.
- A keen interest in providing care to vulnerable individuals.
- Empathy, caring and responsible nature, drive and ambition.
- Full training will be provided – no previous experience required.
