At Lacuna Space, we are pioneering direct-to-satellite IoT connectivity to bridge the global coverage gap. Our low-power Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network connects sensors anywhere on the planet—enabling monitoring across remote and hard to reach areas.
What We Offer:
- High-Impact Mission: Drive technology that directly combats environmental challenges—from conservation and water monitoring to smart agricultural solutions.
- Cutting-Edge Innovation: Work with ground-breaking space technology. We enable standard, battery powered sensors to communicate directly via space without heavy ground infrastructure.
- Growth & Ownership: Join a high-agility, scaling team where your individual contributions directly shape our commercial trajectory, product roadmap, and team culture.
The Impact you'll make:
Leveraging our direct-to-satellite IoT network, your commercial leadership will bring critical connectivity to the most remote corners of the planet—fueling data driven solutions for climate action, biodiversity, and environmental stewardship where traditional infrastructure simply cannot reach.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for an adaptable, driven and tech-savvy Sales & Marketing Team Leader to head our small but growing commercial team. In this role, you will balance leadership with hands-on execution across inbound sales, marketing operations, and technical solutions. You will be the bridge between complex space technology and real-world business needs.
Skills:

Establish clear key performance indicators (KPIs), sales quotas, and marketing targets aligned with revenue goals. Conduct regular pipeline reviews, campaign retrospectives, and professional development sessions.
- Inbound Sales & Technical Solutioning: Manage end-to-end inbound sales inquiries, converting inbound interest into active deployments. Act as a solutions consultant: listen to customer challenges and map out appropriate IoT hardware, sensor networks, and satellite data plans. Confidently lead discovery calls and solution pitches to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Communicate value propositions and provide feedback on product gaps for future portfolio development.
- Targeted Marketing & Lead Generation: Develop and implement growth strategies, tactics, and action plans. Oversee demand generation initiatives, digital marketing, content strategies, and event presence focused on environmental and remote-data verticals. Create clear, engaging sales enablement collateral that demystifies satellite IoT connectivity. Gather customer views to feedback into product development and refine go-to-market messaging.
