We are seeking a Technical Packaging & Compliance Assistant to join our team in Redhill, Surrey supporting the Head of Compliance and Technical Packaging Manager in delivering packaging solutions that meet regulatory, quality, and environmental requirements. This is a hybrid role – 2 days per week WFH.
Responsibilities
- This is a new role following expansion and involves assisting with the development, testing, and implementation of packaging materials, coordinating trials, analysing data, and ensuring compliance with UK & EU regulations and customer standards, while contributing to sustainability initiatives such as recyclability and plastics reduction.
- You will maintain accurate packaging specifications and systems, work cross-functionally with teams including NPD, Technical, Operations, and Commercial, and support supplier compliance activities.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a background in food science or packaging, experience in FMCG or food manufacturing, strong analytical and organisational skills, and a keen interest in sustainability and continuous improvement.
