We are looking for a Customer Marketing Manager to develop and manage the delivery and execution of customer marketing plans across all Lactalis brands/channels and retail customers. Based at our head office in Redhill, Surrey this role is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week from home.
Responsibilities
- Customer Shopper Activation: Create customer-specific shopper plans aligned with brand and category strategy, track execution and ROI, and lead digital activation. Develop retailer-specific creative, monitor competitors, manage agency relationships, and maintain strong retailer partnerships. Deliver regular internal reporting on shopper and competitor activities.
- NPD (New Product Development): Support all innovation launches with shopper marketing plans, track performance across key metrics, and provide ongoing competitor and market landscape insights.
- Retail Sales: Manage retail merchandising programmes, oversee the retail activation agency, and analyse store performance to drive execution improvements.
- Trade PR & Communications: Deliver a structured trade communications and advertising plan, manage trade PR agency activity, oversee approvals, and develop trade advertising for key industry titles.
- Trade Marketing Administration: Keep activation plans and promotional grids updated, manage trade marketing budgets and data costs, and share insights and best practice across commercial and marketing teams.
Essential Qualifications
Degree level education, proven FMCG sales and marketing experience, strong analytical ability, and confident presentation skills. You’re creative, driven, financially aware, and proficient across Microsoft Office, with the capability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
