We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and organised Webinar and Conference Producer to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent chance to gain hands‑on experience in webinar production, event management and content creation within a fast‑paced environment. You will play a key role in delivering engaging virtual experiences for our clients and audiences while working with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
Important Notice: This role is available as fully Remote or Hybrid (2 days in the office & 3 days working from home).
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client webinars, editorial‑led sessions and online events for Technology Networks.
- Research scientific literature to ensure events focus on cutting‑edge advancements in life sciences, drug discovery and analytical chemistry.
- Source high‑quality speakers and develop industry‑leading scientific event agendas.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring clients are well‑informed and satisfied throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate smooth communication between clients, speakers, and internal teams.
- Oversee all production tasks for assigned webinars, including client communication, pre‑recording, basic video editing, and live administration using our webinar platform, BigMarker.
- Create promotional content for webinars and online events, including writing engaging copy for email campaigns and landing pages.
- Support the team lead in tracking key promotional metrics and leverage data insights to optimize content for maximum audience engagement.
- Attend weekly department meetings to provide updates on the progress of assigned webinars.
- Maintain real‑time accuracy of data trackers and project management tools like Trello.
- Support event production and administration for live online events, including those in different time zones (occasional work outside standard office hours).
- Support webinar and online event production across LabX Media Group brands, assisting with speaker recruitment, event logistics and live session delivery as needed.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Technically adept, comfortable with learning and using new software.
- Able to work as part of a team or with minimal supervision.
- Outgoing, comfortable on the phone talking to a broad range of people including clients, laboratory professionals and key opinion leaders.
- Flexibility to accommodate pre‑planned, occasional work outside of normal office hours to support sessions focused toward our global audience.
- Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry or similar (preferred).
- Demonstratable passion for science and science communication.
- Scientific events and/or conference production is an asset.
- Marketing experience is an advantage.
- Understanding of the science industry is desirable.
- Working in a client‑facing role.
- Project management is a benefit.
- Working with a remote team.
