Our client, one of the most advanced precast specialists in Europe, is currently recruiting for several Steel Fixers to join their busy manufacturing plant.
The role
Working within a fast-paced environment installing and tying together steel bars and cages to strengthen concrete during construction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precast concrete.
Main responsibilities
- Reading construction based drawing.
- Use hand and power tools to bend steel bars.
- Fixing the wooden formwork and shuttering used to hold setting concrete in place.
- Fixing steel to concrete bases.
- Installing beams.
Additional requirements
- Good standard of English (to GCSE or equivalent).
- To ensure that all duties are carried out in line with all Company policies and procedures and requirements.
