Our client, one of the most advanced precast specialists in Europe, is currently recruiting for several Steel Fixers to join their busy manufacturing plant.

The role

Working within a fast-paced environment installing and tying together steel bars and cages to strengthen concrete during construction. The ideal candidate will have experience working with precast concrete.

Main responsibilities

  • Reading construction based drawing.
  • Use hand and power tools to bend steel bars.
  • Fixing the wooden formwork and shuttering used to hold setting concrete in place.
  • Fixing steel to concrete bases.
  • Installing beams.

Additional requirements

  • Good standard of English (to GCSE or equivalent).
  • To ensure that all duties are carried out in line with all Company policies and procedures and requirements.
  • Physically fit and able.
  • To ensure you conduct your personal behaviour so that the Company's reputation is protected and enhanced.
