You will be part of a hands-on production team, processing meats through each stage of the line from raw stock to packed, palletised product ready for delivery. Full training is provided, including on the band saw, so previous meat-processing experience is a bonus but not essential.
- Cut meat to size using a band saw (full training given)
- Pack processed meats to spec
- Operate food production machinery and equipment safely and accurately
- Follow HACCP and food safety protocols at all times
- Carry out routine quality checks and monitor consistency on the line
- Keep work areas, tools and equipment clean and hygienic
- Accurately record production data, including output and any deviations
- Work closely with the team to hit daily production targets
Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment preferred.
