Were recruiting experienced Reach Truck Drivers for an immediate start with a large, established distribution operation in Newmarket.
This is an ongoing position offering a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent role after successfully completing 12 weeks.
The shift pattern gives you a full week off every other week, making this a great opportunity for experienced FLT drivers looking for consistent work without the traditional Monday-to-Friday schedule.
Your Reach licence expired? Don't let that stop you applying. If you have previous Reach Truck experience, refresher training can be provided.
The Role
You'll be working within a busy cold-store warehouse and distribution environment, where you'll be responsible for:
- Operating a Reach Truck safely and efficiently
- Putting pallets away into racking
- Retrieving pallets from warehouse locations
- Picking pallets ready for despatch
- Moving stock throughout the warehouse
- Supporting stock control and stock rotation
- Completing general warehouse duties when required
- Carrying out basic truck checks and reporting any faults
- Maintaining high health & safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Previous Reach Truck driving experience
- Current Reach Truck licence OR previous certification that requires refresher training
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience
- Comfortable working within a cold-store environment
- Reliable and able to commit to the 7-on/7-off shift pattern
- Good awareness of warehouse health & safety
- Positive attitude and willingness to support the wider warehouse team
