Key Responsibilities:
- Champion safe working practices in line with the company's Health and Safety policy
- Support production teams with quality feedback and process improvements
- Investigate internal and customer non-conformances, including root cause analysis and CAPA
- Create and maintain inspection plans for production
- Prepare quality documentation (e.g. PSW, Certificates of Conformity, Control Plans, SPC)
- Liaise with customers regarding quality concerns and corrective actions
- Conduct product audits and internal quality training
- Maintain traceability and documentation in accordance with AS9100 QMS
- Oversee supplier quality, subcontract product inspections, and calibration management
- Support 5S implementation across manufacturing
- Deliver in-house quality training where necessary
What You'll Need:
- Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards
- Proven track record of handling non-conformances and continuous improvement processes
- Audit experience (internal or external)
- Experience managing a QMS or supporting supplier quality is highly desirable
- Inspection and calibration experience is advantageous
