We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager on behalf of a well-established and growing construction services specialist delivering projects nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and proactive individual with experience managing construction projects, multi-site roll-outs, or compliance-led works across live environments.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of construction projects from initial survey through to completion and handover. Projects may involve refurbishment, fit-out, fire compliance, demountable building works, and structured roll-out programmes across multiple sites nationwide.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing multiple construction projects and programmes simultaneously
- Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Producing and managing construction programmes
- Supporting tender and pre-construction activities
- Managing project documentation including RAMS, CPPs, H&S files and O&M manuals
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout project delivery
- Managing project changes, compliance requirements, and programme risks
- Conducting site visits nationwide as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Project Manager role within construction, fit-out, refurbishment, FM or related sectors
- Experience managing multi-site or roll-out projects is highly desirable
- Good understanding of construction compliance and CDM regulations
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and project planning software
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Fire compliance / passive fire protection experience
- Relevant construction qualifications
- Experience working in live operational environments
