Looking for a hands-on production role? We are recruiting Production Operatives / Concrete Casters to join a large, established manufacturing operation based in Littleport. This is a physical, hands-on position working within a busy precast concrete manufacturing environment, producing concrete products used across the UK construction and infrastructure sectors. If you have experience in construction, concrete, manufacturing, production or other physical outdoor/industrial work, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Working as part of the production team, you'll be involved in the manufacture of precast concrete products from preparation through to the finished product.
- Your duties may include:
- Preparing moulds ready for concrete casting
- Pouring and placing concrete into moulds
- Levelling, finishing and working concrete
- Stripping finished products from moulds
- Cleaning and preparing moulds for the next production run
- Assisting with reinforcement and steelwork where required
- Moving materials and products around the production area
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products
- Using hand and power tools
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Following all site Health and Safety regulations
