We are currently recruiting for an experienced Forklift Driver to join a leading UK furniture manufacturer based in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing manufacturing and distribution operation, supplying bespoke furniture to some of the UK's most recognised hotel brands. The company operates from a modern 100,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility and continues to invest in its people and production capabilities. The Role

As a Forklift Driver, you'll play a key role in supporting warehouse and production operations, ensuring materials and finished products are moved safely and efficiently throughout the site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently
  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Transporting raw materials and finished products between warehouse and production areas
  • Storing stock accurately within designated warehouse locations
  • Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations
  • Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
  • Carrying out daily FLT safety checks
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
  • Supporting production teams when required to meet customer deadlines

What We're Looking For

  • Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck licence
  • Previous experience operating FLTs within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of health & safety procedures
  • Reliable, hardworking, and punctual
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Manufacturing or furniture industry experience is advantageous but not essential
