Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am 4:30pm About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Driver to join our client based in Needingworth .
This is an immediate start with a 3-month contract and the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful probationary period.
You'll be driving a flatbed HGV , delivering bagged aggregates to builders' merchants across East Anglia.
The role offers excellent working hours, paid breaks, and no manual unloading.
Key Responsibilities Safely operate a Class 1 (C+E) flatbed vehicle.
Complete up to three deliveries per shift to builders' merchants across East Anglia.
Secure loads using sheeting and strapping (full training provided).
Assist with forklift loading and unloading where required (no handballing involved).
Complete all relevant delivery paperwork accurately.
Carry out daily vehicle checks and comply with all road transport legislation and company procedures.
What We're Looking For Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence .
Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card .
A professional and reliable approach to work.
Good understanding of driver hours and road safety regulations.
Previous flatbed experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.
