We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our production team. This role is primarily focused on casing and finishing precast concrete elements. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the preparation and set-up of concrete moulds (casing)
- Apply release agents and ensure proper mould cleanliness
- Place and secure rebar or reinforcement materials as needed
- Pour, level, and finish concrete according to specifications
- Perform patching, grinding, and other finishing tasks to meet quality standards
- Demold and clean finished products safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned by the supervisor
- Previous experience in concrete, construction, or general labour is an asset
- Familiarity with precast concrete and finishing techniques preferred
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to work indoors or outdoors in varying weather conditions
