We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various machinery used in fabrication processes. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilise programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to adjust machine parameters as needed.
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment, including loading and unloading components.
  • Use hand tools and welding equipment for minor repairs or adjustments to machinery or fabricated parts.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols during operation, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with the setup and calibration of machines using basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Document operational data accurately for quality control purposes.
  • Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks requiring mechanical knowledge and precision.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks; experience with milling is desirable.
