We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting various machinery used in fabrication processes. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery involved in fabrication, milling, and assembly processes.
- Set up equipment according to specifications using CAD drawings and tooling instructions.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Utilise programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to adjust machine parameters as needed.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment, including loading and unloading components.
- Use hand tools and welding equipment for minor repairs or adjustments to machinery or fabricated parts.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols during operation, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist with the setup and calibration of machines using basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Document operational data accurately for quality control purposes.
- Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks requiring mechanical knowledge and precision.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments.
