Labour Force Direct Ltd, a leading refurbishment and general building contractor (est. 2003), is looking for a Site Manager with a strong carpentry background to join our team on a self-employed basis. Most sites are in and around Bristol, with occasional travel and overnight stays. You will not be required to attend our Clutton based office / yard – you can travel directly from home to sites.
Responsibilities:
- To manage commercial refurbishment projects (shops, schools, offices – internal works) as a working foreman
- Project values from £5,000 to £300,000
- Site teams of up to 20 operatives
- Responsibility for site organisation, H&S, quality and delivery
Requirements:
- SMSTS qualification (essential)
- CSCS card (essential)
- Proven carpentry background
- Site management / supervisory experience
- Valid UK driving licence
- Own vehicle required to start with
- Professional, reliable, quality-focused
