Machine Operator/Labourer in Middleton

Overview

Night shifts are Sunday to Wednesday 8p-6am. Labour 24/7 are an employment business acting on behalf of our Middleton based client who due to business growth are recruiting for Machine Operators to join their team. Our client is a leading manufacturer of plastic products. Immediate Starts available DAYS and NIGHT SHIFTS

Responsibilities

• Weighing and loading powders into the machines, reloading and trimming.
• Operational factors of the role include: heavy lifting and a fast-paced environment.
• Machine cycles are 50 minutes.
• Shift patterns include Day shifts: Monday to Thursday, 6am-4pm.

Working Conditions

• Due to the heat from the machine it can get very hot in the depot.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Experience with weighing/loading powders and operating plastic product machinery is implied. (No formal qualifications are stated.)
• Ability to work in a hot environment and perform heavy lifting.

Compensation & Employment Type

• Pay rate: £12.21 per hour with paid breaks. Overtime: X1.33 after 40 hours per week. Pay rate may rise to £13.21 per hour after satisfactory probationary period.
