Responsibilities
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on heavy shop equipment, including plasma machines, 900-ton and 400-ton brake presses, plate rolls, forklifts, and CNC machinery.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to rapidly restore production.
- Proactive Inspections: Conduct regular diagnostics and safety checks to identify and resolve potential issues before equipment failure.
- Maintenance Operations: Maintain accurate records, manage work orders, log maintenance tasks, and control spare parts inventory.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the production team to seamlessly schedule maintenance tasks without disrupting daily operations.
- Equipment Commissioning: Assist in the setup, installation, and testing of new machinery and facility equipment.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in strategic initiatives to optimize equipment performance, improve efficiency, and reduce overall maintenance costs.
Qualifications
