Laboris Solutions are working with a specialist roofing, cladding, rainscreen and fire remediation contractor. We're looking for a Technical Surveyor to join their Technical team, taking projects from the first site visit through to materials delivery.
What you'll do
- Survey roofs and building envelopes on new-build, refurbishment and re-roofing projects
- Turn your survey into a technical design and system layout for metal roofing and cladding packages
- Brief our Draughtsman, check drawings, and manage approvals with architects and contractors
- Produce materials schedules, get supplier quotes and place orders
- Support site teams during installation and attend key stages on site
What we're looking for
- 3–5 years' experience in a surveying, technical or design role in metal roofing, cladding, flat roofing or the wider building envelope sector
- Experience carrying out measured surveys and coordinating construction drawings
- Working knowledge of metal roofing systems (profiled sheeting, standing seam, composite panels)
- Comfortable working at height, and confident in ExcelFull UK driving licence, as you'll travel to sites across the UK
- Detail-focused, organised, and a clear communicator
Nice to have
- HND or degree in a construction-related subject
- AutoCAD experience
- PASMA or IPAF certificate
- Knowledge of Building Regulations Parts L and B
Permanent, full-time. Office and site-based, with regular UK travel.
