What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support products from design through to production.
  • Liaise with local contract electronics manufacturers, including occasional site visits.
  • Produce clear and accurate engineering documentation, including:
  • Assembly drawings
  • Manufacturing instructions
  • Test procedures
  • Review product designs to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and robust failure-mode mitigation.
  • Support the development and implementation of automated production test systems.
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving our quality management system and engineering processes.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and technical problem solving across production.
  • About You

    You are a hands-on engineer with strong technical curiosity and a high level of attention to detail. You are comfortable working across disciplines and communicating technical information clearly.

    Essential qualifications and experience:

    • HNC (or higher) in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing or hardware engineering environment

    • Demonstrable experience with:
    • Electronics manufacturing processes
    • Products that incorporate embedded firmware
    • New product introduction (NPI) and resolving production-related issues
    • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for documentation and reporting
    • Design and automation of production test fixtures (e.g., scripting or PLC-based systems)
    • Electronics or mechanical CAD tools such as Altium or SolidWorks
    • Basic Windows and Linux system administration
