Contract Manager – High-End Residential Construction Location: Oxfordshire Salary: Up to £70k Contract Type: Permanent Reports To: Managing Director About the Role Laboris Solutions are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Contract Manager to oversee contractual agreements and compliance for luxury residential construction projects. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth contract execution, minimizing risks, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities * Draft, review, negotiate, and administer contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. * Identify potential contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies. * Ensure adherence to legal requirements, industry regulations, and company policies. * Monitor project costs, variations, and payment schedules to prevent financial discrepancies. * Collaborate with project managers, architects, suppliers, and legal teams to resolve contract-related issues. * Evaluate contract performance, ensuring all obligations are met and disputes are efficiently managed. * Maintain accurate records of contracts, change orders, and communications for auditing and legal purposes. Required Skills & Experience * Proven experience managing contracts in high-end residential construction or luxury property development. * SMSTS/SSSTS * Strong understanding of construction law, procurement, and compliance. * Ability to drive favorable terms while maintaining positive stakeholder relationships. * High level of accuracy in contract drafting and interpretation. * Understanding of construction timelines, budgeting, and risk assessment. * Excellent ability to liaise with clients, contractors, and legal professionals effectively. * Degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or time served (preferred). * Professional certifications such as RICS, CIOB, or NEC accreditation are desirable.
