At Labcorp in Harrogate, we are looking to recruit a Trainee Operational Support Technician to join our expanding team. As a leading contract research organization (CRO), Labcorp provides comprehensive drug development solutions for a range of industries.
Job responsibilities include:
- Breakdown and cleaning of animal/laboratory equipment.
- Operation of industrial cleaning equipment including rack, bottle and pressure washers.
- Cleaning of facility corridors, procedure and empty animal rooms.
- Ensuring enclosures are cleaned in accordance with clear instructions and maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Ensuring equipment is safe for use, checking and raising repair requests.
- Logistic tasking with receipt, storage, issue and disposal of all items entering a busy facility.
- Operation of mechanical handling equipment.
- Responsible for maintaining regulatory waste streams.
- Accurate recording of data to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards both IT and written documentation.

Education/Qualifications:
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Experience:

- Previous experience of working in a logistics field beneficial.
- Basic IT skills with focus on MS Office 365.
- RTITB Forklift beneficial but not required.
