The Position

This position is remotely based in United Kingdom for a 1 year contract.

About the Job

  • Responsible for policies, procedures, and maintenance required for global database.
  • Provide back up to TELD Coordinator
  • Provide support for training when needed for new TELD Coordinator
  • Based on business need, may be assigned tasks at level above
  • Monitor and report performance metrics report notable variances to senior staff
  • Participate in team tasks related to planning, budgeting and cross CLS management team issues
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality and productivity
  • Provide a monthly report to the Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Individual is responsible for maintaining his/her complete up-to-date training file. Individual is responsible for ensuring he/she is trained and training is documented prior to performing a task. Individual is accountable for any deficiencies found in his/her training file.

TELD Data Bases Duties and responsibility

  • Demonstrates proficiency/expertise in assigned database discipline
  • Once proficient in assigned database, individuals will be expected to learn additional data Bases across divisions within TELD
  • Support the TELD Administrators, global laboratories and remote sites to troubleshoot and solve database related problem
  • Build, maintain, troubleshoot global database definitions and modify appropriately
  • Responsible for Data entry of information in appropriate Data Base
  • Responsible for creating and maintaining test codes, result codes, cancellation codes, comment codes, units, conversion factors, analysis table, reference ranges, calculation, and reflexes, in appropriate Data Bases

Your skills and background

  • Bachelor degree in scientific direction or equivalent experience
  • Scientific background with previous commercial lab experience
  • Experienced in working with various lab systems and databases
  • Previous experience in a lab based role
  • Able to work autonomously and having a quality mindset
  • Ability to plan and prioritize
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in English, French is an asset
