Overview
In this role you apply physical-chemical testing to support diagnostics and quality assurance in a clinical lab setting. You will work within a team to ensure GLP-compliant data handling, perform routine and non-routine analyses, and contribute to method development and validation. You will translate results into clear findings for study directors while promoting process improvements and client-focused delivery. This position offers exposure to advanced instrumentation and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities
- Conduct physico-chemical tests and stability studies using appropriate instrumentation
- Record observations and process data in GLP-compliant systems with interpretation
- Execute CIPAC methods and perform QC checks as required
- Review colleagues' work for accuracy, timeliness, and technical soundness
- Set up and run routine and non-routine assays; support method development and validation
- Maintain study documentation per regulatory guidelines; ensure data integrity
- Prepare results and presentations based on analyses
- Collaborate with Study Directors and management to adapt working practices as needed
- Promote quality, propose process improvements, and foster cross-group collaboration
- Communicate potential issues to stakeholders to safeguard data integrity
- Plan and coordinate project timelines to meet client expectations
- Provide constructive feedback to team members
- Identify and resolve deviations from normal results and escalate as needed
- Mentor/training of junior staff as needed
- Stay updated on latest technologies and regulatory thinking in the discipline
Key requirements
- A level in Chemistry, Applied Science, Physics
- Experience in Physical Chemical testing with laboratory equipment or bench chemistry
- Proficiency with Excel and numeracy
- Experience with HPLC, GC and UV detection techniques
- Knowledge of GLP and CIPAC standards
- Ability to work in a remote-location site with limited public transport access
- Trained team members (preferred)
