Laboratory Arts Are Recruiting!
About us
We're a well-established, full-service dental laboratory, currently based in the beautiful surroundings of Liscombe Park, Soulbury, close to Milton Keynes and the M1. Specialising in complex implant restorations and full-mouth rehabilitations, alongside crowns, bridges and prosthetics, we combine the very best of digital technology and traditional craftsmanship to produce high-quality dental restorations for our clients. We're proud of the reputation we've built for quality, reliability and strong client relationships, with continued year-on-year growth driven by the recommendations of our clients.
About you
We're looking for a highly skilled and passionate Dental CAD/CAM Technician to join our busy digital design team. You'll work across a varied caseload, designing everything from single crowns to full zirconia arches, using your technical expertise to help us maintain the high standards our clients have come to expect.
We currently design, mill and 3D print in-house, so proficiency in exocad and/or 3Shape is essential, with a preference for candidates experienced in exocad. An understanding of digital milling and 3D printing workflows is also important. We specialise in implant work, so a good working knowledge of implant design would be advantageous. However, training and support can be provided to the right candidate, so we'd also love to hear from technicians with strong general dental CAD skills who are keen to develop their experience in this area.
We're looking for someone who takes a proactive approach to their work, has excellent attention to detail and can communicate and collaborate effectively with our ceramists, the wider laboratory team and our dental practice clients. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills are also important to help manage workflow efficiently, identify potential issues and ensure cases progress smoothly through the laboratory.
Applicants who are GDC registered and/or have a working knowledge of digital denture design would also be advantageous.
An Exciting New Chapter!
We're continuing to grow and invest in the future of Laboratory Arts. In early 2027, we'll be relocating from Liscombe Park to our brand-new, larger premises in the heart of Leighton Buzzard. Our new laboratory features a purpose-built state of the art design studio - creating an exciting environment for our digital team to work, collaborate and develop their skills.
What We Offer
- Competitive salaries.
- Performance-related bonuses.
- Workplace pension and company sick pay.
- Ongoing professional development.
- A flexible approach to working.
- Team lunches.
As part of our recruitment process, shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a practical bench test to demonstrate their technical ability and dental CAD design skills.
