Position: Project Lead Robotics Engineer
Location: Labman HQ, Stokesley, North Yorkshire
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (based on experience)

What Y ou\’ll Do:
- Design and develop cutting-edge electro-mechanical automation systems (mechanics, optics, electronics, pneumatics, and software).
- Create and adapt CAD models, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve integration challenges and align to safety/quality standards.
- Work directly with clients—shaping ideas, scoping improvements, and driving innovation.
- Support technicians and coordinate teams to bring projects to life.
What You\’ll Need:
- Degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar).
- At least 3 years proven track record in leading robotics, mechatronics, or automation projects.
- Advanced expertise in CAD and simulation tools such as SolidWorks, MATLAB, or ROS, with the ability to guide teams in best practice.
- Strategic problem-solver with strong critical thinking, capable of balancing technical detail with big-picture project goals.
- Inspiring communicator and collaborator, skilled at bringing multidisciplinary teams and clients together to deliver results.
- Proactive leader who thrives in fast-paced, innovative environments and has a track record of driving projects from concept to successful delivery.
