Labman Automation designs and builds bespoke laboratory automation systems and robotic products for customers worldwide. From small specialist teams to large‑scale engineering programmes, our people build solutions that enable science through technology. Labman is growing quickly, with around 80 new roles to hire this year, and we’re looking for an In‑House Recruiter to help deliver a high‑quality, consistent recruitment process across the business. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be actively involved in advertising, screening, coordinating interviews, and continuously improving how we hire as we scale.
What You’ll Do
- Write clear, engaging job adverts and post roles across Breezy, Indeed, LinkedIn and other platforms
- Support recruitment campaigns for experienced hires and early‑career roles
- Review CVs quickly and consistently against agreed criteria
- Run initial Teams screening interviews, including basic technical questions for engineering roles (training provided)
- Manage recruitment pipelines in Breezy, including interview scheduling, interview packs and candidate communication
- Support assessment centres and early‑career recruitment activity
- Use simple dashboards and KPIs to spot trends, bottlenecks and opportunities to improve how we hire
- Occasionally support sourcing for harder‑to‑fill roles using Boolean search and LinkedIn outreach
What You’ll Need
- 2+ years’ recruitment experience (in‑house or agency)
- Experience recruiting within an engineering or technical environment is highly desirable.
- Confidence managing end‑to‑end recruitment, from advert to offer
- Strong organisation, written communication and attention to detail
- Experience using an ATS and producing recruitment reporting (Breezy desirable)
- Interest in engineering or technical roles, or willingness to learn
- Boolean search capability and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools
