Salary: From £34,000 based on experience

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and professional CNC Machinist to support the production of high-quality components for our bespoke automation systems.

What You'll Do

  • Precision Manufacturing: Manufacture high-quality parts to exact drawing specifications for bespoke automation systems
  • CNC Programming and Operation: Write and optimise CNC programs using ONE CNC, and operate a range of milling, turning, and routing machines
  • Technical Excellence: Maintain high standards of machining while contributing to continuous improvement in processes and techniques
  • Innovation and Development: Stay up to date with state-of-the-art machining technologies and contribute to their integration into future systems
  • Team Contribution: Support and mentor colleagues, sharing knowledge to strengthen team capability
  • Cultural Commitment: Uphold and embody Labman’s core values and behaviours in all aspects of work

Core

  • 5+ years CNC machining (milling/turning)
  • Programming experience (any CAM software)
  • Reading engineering drawings

Nice to have

  • Experience with Haas / DMG / Doosan machines
  • ONE CNC or similar CAM software
  • Mentoring or team support experience
