Acceptance of goods in using Forklift Truck. Dispatch and goods out management. Ensuring goods in and out are quality checked and all vehicles are checked for hygiene purposes.

Raw Material stock management: ordering required materials for production, management of stock (using old materials) and management of consumables stock.

Dispatch Admin: working closely with the Production department to ensure that all deliveries ship on time and in full. Arranging transport for these shipments.

Ensuring that the warehouse remains organised and tidy in adherence with BRC and ISO standards by carrying out site audits. Also ensuring that equipment in warehouse remains in full working order and is regularly maintained. This includes IT equipment, Forklift and tools.

Managing space of warehouse: Ensuring all materials in warehouse fit in the space provided and preparing materials for press.

Ad hoc tasks: cover in warehouse when required.

KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for this role are:

  • Stock level management & raw material consumption: the correct data on the system and all materials being consumed correctly - monitored by Operations Manager - expect no discrepancies.
  • Waiting for material: Operators on press waiting for material - expect none.
  • General tidiness of warehouse: measured through audits.
