We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented engineering student to join our team as a Solid Waste Engineer Intern for the summer. This internship offers hands‑on experience in solid waste management, environmental compliance, and sustainability initiatives. The intern will support technical projects, data analysis, and field operations under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Duties
- Assist in the design, evaluation, and optimization of solid waste systems including collection, transfer, recycling, and disposal.
- Conduct field inspections and site assessments of landfills, transfer stations, and recycling facilities.
- Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports, charts, and presentations.
- Support regulatory compliance efforts including permit applications, reporting, and documentation.
