Labcorp is seeking a Trainee Animal Care Technician to join our team in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7.45am-4pm, Friday 7.45am-3.30pm. 1 in 3 weekends as overtime.
Job Responsibilities:
- Acclimatisation of animals to their surroundings.
- Ensuring that animal enclosures are maintained.
- Cleaning out kennels, pens and cages and changing bedding.
- Exercising dogs and socialising with the animals.
- Handling, feeding and watering animals.
- Accurately recording vital animal information like body weights.
Required profile
Minimum Qualifications: Educated to GCSE Level or Equivalent
Preferred Qualifications: Animal Care Level 2 OR Animal Management Level 3 Institute of Animal Technology qualification
