In This Position, You Will
- Perform contract management tasks on low to medium complexity projects
- Lead negotiations for low to medium complexity projects with moderate to high management support
- Develop and review Agreements including Master Services Agreements (Client or Labcorp template)
- Develop and apply knowledge of Labcorp and key standard contract provisions to insure proper contract terms for all types of studies
- Follow up on outstanding contract issues for resolution to meet internal and external deadlines and to minimize business and legal risk
- Serve as contract management lead for strategic accounts
- Work cross-functionally with Contract Management, Legal, Proposal Management, Finance, Commercial Development and Sales teams to resolve contract issues in a timely manner
- Assist management and subject matter experts (SME) in maintaining harmonized contract processes and client relationships
- Support and update all applicable systems as assigned (e.g. Salesforce, CMS, contracts database, etc.) to provide accurate and up-to-date information on contract status and details in a timely manner
To Be Successful In This Role You Will
- Have experience in contract management, ideally within the pharmaceutical or CRO Industry
- Have previous experience in effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and ability to be persistent while maintaining professionalism
- Be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Possess strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Have exemplary working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and hold excellent written and oral communication skills
