We are looking for an Assistant Formulation Scientist who will assist in the preparation of test substances for dilutions in liquid and dietary form and capsule formulations, providing complete documentary evidence of tasks performed at our site in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire Your main responsibilities will be: Complies with GLP and H&S regulations. Performs procedures in safe handling and disposition of Test Materials and fomulations, where required. Work safely with known and unknown hazardous chemicals. Prepares and performs specific techniques for vehicle, dietary, capsule and liquid test material formulations. Interprets study protocols for test item and vehicle formulations, to ensure that study tasks are conducted accordingly and in line with SOP and GLP. Collects and records applicable online and hand generated data. Performs quality control reviews of study data prior to issue from department. Assists senior technicians with preparation of formulations. This is a full-time position in a 7 day a week lab, so weekend work is required on a rota.
