Our site in Alconbury, Huntingdon is currently recruiting an Assistant Archive Coordinator to join our Archives and Sample Management department.
In this role, you will perform a variety of Archive responsibilities in compliance with appropriate Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations (as appropriate) in support of various Business Unit Operations. Ensure that services to both internal and external customers are provided in a timely manner or as agreed in Service Level Agreements.
Please note, this is an on-site, office-based role.
Full training will be provided and this is an ideal role for someone looking to start out or make a career change and build a long-term career within the scientific industry.
Duties Include:

Performing any combination of sample management and/or archive tasks, including labelling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials.

Sample accession core tasks, including box opening, inventory/labelling, receipt/store, and pulls/returns.

Using tracking systems as appropriate to maintain sample and study integrity.

Accurate protocol and relevant documentation interpretation (i.e., Sample Analysis Outline, client paperwork).

Documenting and communicating discrepancies to appropriate personnel and assisting with problem solving.

Complying with relevant Environmental, Health and Safety at work regulations and Company Policies.

Maintaining storage units
About You:
The successful candidate will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent and be I.T proficient . You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, time management and organizational skills in an environment that requires you to be flexible and meet specific timelines.
