You will be joining an enthusiastic, aspirational and customer-focused Building Control team committed to ensuring that buildings across Bracknell Forest are safe for residents and visitors alike. Based in a thriving Berkshire community, just a short journey from London, the team supports a wide range of exciting developments, from large housing projects to major healthcare redevelopments and our ongoing multi-million-pound town centre regeneration.

Responsibilities
- Working with the Principal Building Control Surveyor(s) to deliver the Building Control function across the borough.
- Undertaking Plan Checking and Site Inspections as necessary.
- Maintaining and developing professional competence in accordance with the Registered Building Inspector Code of Conduct.
- Responding to our clients in an appropriate and timely fashion.
- Promote a positive image of the profession and provide a high standard of service.
Essential qualifications/skills
- Corporate RICS/CABE membership or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in both commercial and domestic projects and additional functions such as dangerous structures, demolitions.
- Class 2A and above Registered Building Inspector.
- Working knowledge of building legislation and practices.
- Extensive Building Control experience across all project types, domestic through to commercial.
Desirable qualifications/skills
- Fire engineering/safety related qualification.
- Experience in managing projects and customers under the LABC Partnership scheme.
- Experience in project management/management of projects.
£36,363 - £72,173 per year (depending on experience, including £7500 market supplement), plus benefits and Golden Hello payment. Full time.
