In this role, you will manage the daily operations for facilities soft services across your designated sites to ensure smooth business operations and efficiency. As part of this role, it will include some travel to other UK sites.
As a Soft Services Operations Manager at Labcorp you will:
- Develop facilities soft service lines at Eye and Shardlow sites, and work in conjunction with other UK and European sites to ensure a timely, professional and quality service is delivered to the sites.
- Ensure 3rd party contractors provide daily services (including waste, cleaning, pest control and catering services) in a professional and compliant manner.
- Lead the Eye and Shardlow security teams and collaborate with UK/EU security lead to ensure alignment of strategy.
- Onboard soft services in TMS, leveraging the system to generate a consistent set of KPIs for the service and the whole region.
- Collaborate with site facilities teams (facilities management, projects, EHS and security), site leadership and other business stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
- Identify innovation opportunities or process improvements to provide either cost savings or productivity increases to the business.
What we need from you:
- Experience working within Facilities Management, ideally soft services.
- Experience of managing/supervising a team.
- Account management, multi-site and budget control experience would be beneficial.
- Facilities Management / CIWM qualifications are advantageous.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience of liaising with a variety of different stakeholders.
- Attention to detail.
