We are looking for a strategic and creative Marketing Lead to drive brand growth and deliver impactful campaigns across the UK. This is a highly hands-on role with strong visibility at leadership level, working closely with the global leadership team. You will play a key role in both shaping strategy and executing it on the ground, with the opportunity to build, test and scale bold ideas in a fast-moving environment.
Purpose of the role
Reporting to the CMO, you will define and lead the UK growth strategy, owning brand development and execution across all key touchpoints. You will play a central role in shaping how La Vie shows up in the UK, connecting brand, media, innovation and commercial priorities to drive both awareness and business impact. You will own the marketing function in the UK with a Brand Manager direct report, working closely with our small but perfectly formed local team to deliver the best results.
Pillars of the Role
- Brand Strategy, Creativity & Campaign Leadership: Define and lead the UK brand strategy in partnership with the CMO and French team, ensuring strong local relevance and cultural impact. Own the full brand ecosystem from strategy to execution, including campaigns, social media, PR and influencer. Lead the annual brand planning process and communication calendar, from big campaigns to always-on activity. Drive bold, distinctive ideas that cut through, from large-scale campaigns to disruptive PR stunts. Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and excellence in execution.
- Commercial Growth, Performance & Innovation: Drive business performance across retail, foodservice and QSR with the Sales team, ensuring strong alignment between brand and commercial priorities. Act as a strategic partner to Sales, supporting with key client meetings, category presentations and growth initiatives. Lead key commercial battles including major QSR partnerships and priority accounts. Own the UK innovation pipeline from a brand perspective, in collaboration with the CMO and Head of Innovation. Define positioning and go-to-market strategies to ensure launches deliver both brand impact and commercial success.
- Social, Influence & Cultural Activation: Own the UK digital strategy: social media and influencer strategy, driving engagement, relevance and brand love. Lead always-on content and campaign amplification across social, PR and influencer channels. Develop bold, culturally relevant activations and guerrilla marketing initiatives that generate buzz and earned media. Ensure strong integration between social, PR and wider brand campaigns.
- Market Leadership & Local Business Ownership: Act as a voice of the UK market at a global level, representing local needs and opportunities. Serve as UK Marketing point of contact for senior stakeholders including COMEX and leadership. Lead UK Marketing and team, supporting growth of Brand Manager, managing agencies, resources and budget allocation.
Profil recherché
- 6 to 10 years experience in FMCG marketing
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to align and manage senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- A bold and creative thinker with a sharp instinct for ideas that stand out and get people talking.
- Comfortable owning a P&L, managing budgets, and making data-driven decisions.
- Proven track record of executing trade marketing plans (POS, promotions, sampling) and working with retailer data (IRI, Dunnhumby, Nectar, Nielsen, Kantar, etc.).
- A proactive, creative, sunny and collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- High standards of execution and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Process
