We are looking for an outstanding Woodwind Teacher who is able to inspire and develop students from beginner to advanced level. The successful candidate should have experience teaching one or more woodwind instruments and be able to support students in developing their technical skills, musical understanding, confidence and performance abilities.
The successful candidate will be comfortable teaching students from Year 7 toYear 13and be interested in developing the role of woodwind within the wider Music Department.
The post holder will also be expected to lead the school’s Wind Ensemble, supporting students to develop their ensemble skills and musical confidence and providing opportunities for students to perform both within and beyond the school.
The post holder will be engaged on a self-employed basis and be expected to be available for 6 hours per week, term time only. The actual specific day of the week to be worked will be agreed with the successful applicant.
