Are you someone that loves variety in your role, enjoy being a true HR generalist and are a people person? This role will partner with the Head Office and Retail teams for Chantecaille and La Prairie UK&I, executing Local/Global HR plans and providing HR expertise on the full employee cycle. As the HR BP you will also provide advice on a range of HR topics including Recruitment, Employee Relations and Compensation & Benefits.
Main Accountabilities
- Business Partnering: work closely with the retail Regional teams and functional heads on all people related matters, providing best in class advice, support and guidance. Escalating matters as required.
- Talent Acquisition: Understanding hiring needs for each function/location and proactively partnering with the business to anticipate needs. Responsible for the recruitment of all vacancies together with the HR Assistant. Ensures all retail vacancies are managed efficiently ensuring a positive candidate experience that reflects our employer brand.
- Employee Relations: Work closely with the business to manage all employee relations issues within the retail teams; including: Investigations, Disciplinaries/Grievances, Redundancy, ensuring that they are handled effectively and within the relevant legal framework.
- Performance Management: Partner with the business to ensure the UK follows the Global process for a successful annual performance management cycle, development cycle and succession planning process.
- Payroll: Responsible for submitting and overseeing payroll for both brands ensuring accuracy is upheld at all times. Working together with the HR Assistant to ensure all data is submitted on time, previews done and any errors are managed. Responsible for managing the relationship with the external payroll provider.
- Engagement: support the business in driving employee engagement across field and head office, ensuring effective reward and recognition is in place. Support with rollout and action planning of our annual engagement survey.
- Employee Lifecycle: Responsible for the employee lifecycle ensuring that all inductions are carried out as well as leaver processes such as exit interviews. Draws insights from the processes and suggests improvements where needed.
- Compensation & Benefits: Regularly reviews the market to collect benchmarking data and market trends, suggesting improvements to our compensation and benefits to ensure that we are competitive within the market.
- Policies, Procedures & Legislation: In collaboration with the HRD, supports the creation, implementation and training of all HR policies and procedures. Ensuring we remain up to date with employment law changes. Supports management in the roll out of policies, procedures and legislation ensuring that they are being followed effectively and consistently. Hosting training sessions as required.
- Office Management: guide the HR Assistant with office management topics (eg. H&S, tenants meetings, events).
- Data, Systems & Reporting: Supporting the HR Assistant with ensuring HR systems and databases are accurate at all times. Responsible for the maintenance, upkeep and training of HR systems where necessary. Review and report on HR data (new starter interviews/exit interviews).
