We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Sous Chef, who is comfortable working solo as well as part of a small team. At La Petite Petanque all our dishes are prepared from scratch from fresh ingredients. The majority of our staff have worked for many years at the restaurant, including the talented Head Chef, who has been with us for seven years.

We are open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea, 9.30am-4.00pm. We bake all our cakes in-house and on Sundays our Roasts are extremely popular. We hold cultural events once a month on a Friday or Saturday evening and are also available for private hire. At these events the Chefs have the opportunity to be more creative with the menus.

The position could be either part or full-time and may suit a local chef who has to juggle school drop-off and pick-up.

Must have at least 5 years experience creating and preparing dishes from scratch, and hold a current Health and Hygiene Certificate.
