What will you do:

  • Act as a mentor to your team members, being their point of reference and supporting them in delivering the best guest experience possible while developing their skills.
  • Oversee weekly meetings, team performance reviews with the Sous Chef and properly communicate info to HR.
  • Be responsible for allocating chefs to the different sections based on their capabilities, train them in the identified weaknesses and manage the succession plan accordingly.
  • Closely monitor and ensure you and your team are meeting your business target for the year set with the Global Team.
  • Work in collaboration with the Marketing Manager in creating appealing menu descriptions.
  • Assist HR in the recruitment process to ensure that the headcount is aligned to the budget and all positions are covered.

What You’ll Need:

  • Culinary Arts School Certificate
  • Previous experience as a Head Chef in a reputable stand-alone restaurant (min. 2-3 years)
  • Organizational and time management skills
