LA Micro Group is a leading provider of enterprise IT hardware, specialising in refurbished servers, storage, networking and components. With a strong presence in the secondary market and a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial culture, we’re now looking to recruit a Senior Buyer to help us expand our purchasing capabilities and strengthen supplier relationships.
This role is ideal for a commercially minded, tech‑savvy individual with strong experience in ITAD / End‑User Buyback and a track record of managing complex supply relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage direct purchasing of Dell enterprise hardware (servers, storage, networking).
- Build and maintain supplier relationships in the ITAD and cancelled order/return purchase markets.
- Source and negotiate the purchase of Intel and AMD CPUs, memory, and components at competitive rates.
- Identify and drive manufacturer‑direct purchasing opportunities offering significant savings.
- Manage all aspects of the procurement process from sourcing and negotiation to PO placement and stock reconciliation.
- Analyse and monitor historical vs current costs, purchase volumes, and foreign exchange impacts.
- Generate accurate reports on purchasing performance, trends and forecasts.
- Utilise ERP systems (e.g., NAV) to create POs and maintain procurement data integrity.
- Work closely with sales, warehouse and testing teams to meet delivery schedules and stock requirements.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in enterprise IT hardware procurement (especially Dell).
- Strong existing network within the ITAD and secondary hardware space.
- Hands‑on experience buying returns/cancelled orders and managing reverse logistics suppliers.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and drive savings on high‑volume, high‑value purchases.
- ERP experience (Priority or NAV desirable).
- Confident communicator with good analytical and Excel skills.
- Detail‑oriented, commercially aware and resilient under pressure.
