Made in Italy and La Mia Mamma are looking for an experienced and passionate Head Pizza Chef to lead our pizza section across our vibrant and authentic Italian restaurants in South West London. Our restaurants are located in Clapham Junction, Chelsea, Notting Hill, and Hollywood Road. We pride ourselves on using high-quality ingredients, traditional Italian techniques, and delivering warm, genuine hospitality. We are now looking for a strong and reliable Head Pizza Chef who can lead by example and help maintain the highest standards across our kitchens.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading and supervising the pizza section during service.
  • Ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation standards at all times.
  • Training and supporting junior pizza chefs and kitchen staff.
  • Managing stock levels, ordering, and reducing waste.
  • Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
  • Working closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience as a Head Pizza Chef in a busy restaurant environment.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional pizza preparation.
  • Experience using traditional pizza ovens and professional kitchen equipment.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy shifts.
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
