Change Manager – SC Cleared – 6 Month Contract, Onsite in Wokingham

Rate: £450–£500 per day via Umbrella.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raise and manage Change Requests (CRs) in line with ITSM processes and governance standards.
  • Coordinate and follow up on changes through to successful closure, ensuring timelines and SLA adherence.
  • Act as a liaison between internal resolver groups and external third‑party vendors to drive resolution and implementation.
  • Monitor and track change progress, ensuring risks and dependencies are identified and mitigated.
  • Support change planning, scheduling, and execution in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with ITIL/ITSM best practices and organizational policies.
  • Maintain clear documentation and provide timely status updates to stakeholders.
  • Handle change activities related to Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) and substation environments, ensuring minimal operational impact.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Hands‑on experience in ITSM Change Management processes.
  • Basic understanding of network concepts (e.g., connectivity, infrastructure components).
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work with third‑party vendors and cross‑functional teams.
  • Experience in tracking, reporting, and driving issue resolution.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with ITIL framework or relevant certification.
  • Experience working in CNI, utilities, or substation environments.
  • Exposure to ticketing tools (e.g., ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms).

Security Requirement

Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment, which can take a minimum of 10 weeks.
