VBA Developer
6 Month contract initially
Based: Hybrid – 3 days p/w onsite in London
Rate: Market rates (via Umbrella company)
We have a great opportunity with a world-leading organisation where you will be provided with all the support and development to succeed. This is a progressive organisation offering a great opportunity for a VBA Developer.
Responsibilities:
- Develop professional solutions to everyday business problems as part of the EUI End User Computing (EUC) team.
- Analyze requirements, design, document new IT applications, and support existing applications.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of end-user applications, security environment, support, infrastructure, tooling & documentation.
- Provide practical assistance to both technical and non-technical (internal) clients.
- Understand and provide feedback on risks, and help control the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strong ability to elicit requirements from End Users.
- Ability to plan work, including dividing tasks into smaller units, estimating effort, and scheduling.
- Report clearly on work delivered, benefits realized, and challenges encountered.
- Understand and manage risks associated with End User applications.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong Excel and VBA skills, especially in the Excel object model and VBA programming.
- Experience building, supporting, and maintaining End User applications (Tactical tools).
