Overview

Product Owner – 6 Month contract initially + extensions. Based: Gaydon or Leamington Spa/Hybrid (max 3 days onsite per week). Rate: £500 - £540 per day (via Umbrella company).

A Product Owner is sought to join the team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the long-term vision and strategy for your Product area to deliver the right value at the right time.
  • Collaborate with the teams to define and maintain viable roadmaps.
  • Own and maintain a backlog of purposeful work which meets the technical, user and business needs of the Product area.
  • Evaluate opportunities, determining what gets built and delivered to customers, supported by evidence that what you’re asking a team to build is worth building.
  • Cultivate a meaningful community and network in your Product area, including solution architects and stakeholders.
  • Build credibility and trust through experience and personal style, bringing diverse new ways of thinking and perspectives to the team.
  • Use data to plan, measure and make decisions.
  • Prior experience in Salesforce and/or data migration.

Essential skills/knowledge/experience

  • A passion for using digital product thinking, techniques and technology to solve complex problems.
  • Successes (and perhaps some failures) in one or more of greenfield, brownfield, user-led, data-led, infrastructure-led or software-led products.
  • Hands-on experience of the 'fuzzy front' and 'messy middle' phases of the digital product lifecycle.
  • Modern and appropriate Business Analysis techniques and Process design/capture.
  • Experience of implementing OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
  • Comfortable challenging existing thinking in a positive way.
  • Genuine advocate for modern high-quality DevOps, modern software engineering practices and all things Agile.
  • Customer-focused, driven to deliver experiences users will love and keen to collaborate with different product teams and stakeholders.
  • Resilient, energetic and enthusiastic, able to deliver results in a complex environment.
  • Experience in Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Good to have experience in data migration.

Desirable skills/knowledge/experience

  • 3+ years of experience as a Digital or Technology Product Owner in any Technical/Engineering industry.
